During this time, all members and guests will be asked to enter the building through the south entrance, located near the Multi-Purpose Rooms. To best meet the needs of Y members, the C.W. Avery Family YMCA will be limiting daily visitors during the week.
The following restrictions will go into effect beginning Monday, September 15 and will continue through Friday, May 29:
Monday-Friday
Daily passes will be available for purchase between 5 a.m.-3 p.m. ONLY.
Saturday and Sunday
Daily passes will be available for purchase during all open hours.
These restrictions will NOT apply to guests of YMCA members or individuals using a once-yearly web pass, which is available on the YMCA’s website. YMCA Facility Members enjoy unlimited guest passes (one guest per day) throughout the year so they can share the Y experience with family and friends. However, individual guests are limited to three visits per calendar year.

YMCA Facility Members enjoy significant cost-savings and priority registration on YMCA programs, and receive free access to the YMCA’s On the Go App, as well as unlimited guest passes. The Morris Hospital YMCA will be closed on Sunday, June 8 while ComEd completes scheduled maintenance in our facility. We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding as this essential work is completed.

The Morris Hospital YMCA is excited to announce that families will now be able to host birthday parties at the Y beginning in September!
A birthday party at the Y is a great way for children to celebrate their special day and create lasting memories with family and friends!
The Y provides a dynamic and engaging day of activities while relieving you of the stress that comes along with planning everything by yourself.
Our “no mess, no stress” approach to parties allows parents to sit back and relax while our talented staff handles all elements of the party, from setup to clean up!
Birthday Party Pricing (Dates Available Beginning September 2025)
Party Times
YMCA party packages include 20 invitations, decorations (Everyday Happy Birthday, Sports Happy Birthday, or Under the Sea Happy Birthday), paper plates, plastic forks, napkins, access to a Bluetooth speaker, and two party attendants to ensure a successful party.
All you need to bring:
-Food/Dessert (Delivery, homemade, or store bought is welcomed.)
-Serving utensils
-Drinks (We ask families to bring drinks that do not need to be poured into a cup. Ex: Juice boxes, cans of soda, bottled water, etc.)
-Birthday candles and a lighter/matches
PLEASE NOTE: There is a $50 non-refundable deposit due at booking to hold your party day/time. If you have more than 20 children, there will be an additional fee of $100 for every 10 extra children. Extra time can be added to your party for an additional cost: 30 minutes for $50 or 1 hour for $100. Please mention this while booking in order to ensure accommodations can be made.
