Membership Cancellation and Hold Policy
Y Members may cancel their memberships at any time. Memberships will remain active until the end of the current paid period. If a membership is reactivated within 60 days of cancellation, the joiner’s fee will be waived.
Members may also place their memberships on hold. Holds are available for 30, 60, 90, or 120 consecutive days, with a maximum of 120 hold days allowed within a 12-month period. During the hold period, memberships are considered inactive, and no monthly dues will be charged. At the end of the hold, memberships will automatically reactivate, and regular monthly dues will resume. Members on hold may still access the Y as guests or paid daily visitors.
Members enrolled in YMCA programs must maintain an active membership through the program’s duration or pay the difference between Facility Member and Community Member rates.
To cancel or place a membership on hold, members must submit a request using the form below at least five (5) days before their next scheduled payment. Requests submitted after this window may result in charges for the upcoming month. A confirmation email will be sent once the request has been processed, detailing the specific hold or cancellation dates.
