Home Depot-Shorewood Provides Generous Donation for Membership Desk Renovation at the C.W. Avery Family YMCA

The C.W. Avery Family YMCA is excited to start the new year with a fresh look after completing renovations on our Membership Desk this past week!

This project, which was made possible by a generous $9,246 donation from Home Depot-Shorewood, featured installation of a new countertop, updated cabinets, and a fresh coat of paint.

“The Y strives to be a welcoming place from the moment someone walks through the doors, and we know the updates to our Membership Desk will continue to help members and guests feel at home when visiting the Y,” C.W. Avery Family YMCA Executive Director Erin Lightbody said.

We would like to thank Home Deport-Shorewood for their generosity, as well as the members of the Y staff team who assisted with the completion of the project. We also thank members for their patience throughout the construction process.

Village of Shorewood YMCA Invites Community to Attend Winter ‘Coffee with the YMCA’ Events

As we prepare to open the new Village of Shorewood YMCA later this spring, the Y is excited to invite the community to participate in our ‘Coffee with the YMCA’ events! The On the Go App will provide Y members with access to the YMCA 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This new interactive tool is loaded with free workouts, on-demand videos, and nutrition tips.

Free Access to the My Y Rewards Program
Upon enrolling in the My Y Rewards Program, you’ll earn points each time you check-in, take a class, or refer a friend to the Y. In fact, you’ll earn your first 50 points for simply enrolling in the program. You can then redeem your points for fun Y swag and program and membership credits.
