Monday - Friday: 5 a.m. - 9 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday: 7 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Holidays
Greater Joliet Area YMCA branches are closed on all major holidays including Easter, 4th of July, Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day. Branches will be open until 1 p.m. on Memorial Day, Labor Day, Christmas Eve, and New Year’s Eve.
Kids Corner Playroom Hours
(Open to ages 6 months-7 years)
Monday - Thursday: 8:45 a.m.-Noon, 4-7:30 p.m.
Friday: 8:45 a.m.-Noon
Saturday and Sunday: 8 a.m.-Noon
For safety and security reasons, we ask that members present a membership card for themselves and their child(ren) when they are checking into Kids Corner. Parents must remain in the facility while their children are in Kids Corner. Youth, ages 11 and up, can spend time in the Y’s Community Room playing board games, studying and visiting with other members.
Supervised Activity Center Hours
(Open to children ages 7 and up)
Monday - Thursday: 4-7:30 p.m.
Saturday: 8 a.m.-Noon
Pool Policies
OPEN SWIM:
All members may participate in activities in the pool during open swim. All children (under 15) will be swim tested. Children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult on the pool deck. Children who do not pass the Yellow or Blue swim test must also be accompanied by an adult in the water.
LAP SWIM:
There is always one lane available for lap swimming for members. Children, who pass the blue test, are permitted in the lap lanes and must be swimming laps. Swimmers in the lap lanes must swim continuous laps without stopping so as to not interfere with others sharing the lap lane.

Child Supervision at the YMCA
As a reminder, to ensure the safety and well-being of all members:
- Children under the age of 10 must be supervised by an adult or family member at least 16 years of age at all times when using YMCA facilities.
- The Kids Corner Supervised Playroom is available during designated hours for Facility Members, ages 6 months-7 years old.
- The Supervised Activity Center is available during designated hours for Facility Members, Guests, and Daily Visitors ages 7 and older.
Accompanying adults or family members must:
- Directly supervise any child under the age of 8 at the YMCA at all times.
- Remain in the building in an accessible area for any child between the ages of 8 and 10.
- Directly supervise any child under the age of 10 when using the pools.
