REGISTRATION FOR THE 2021-2022 SCHOOL YEAR IS UNDERWAY

Building Bright Futures

The YMCA remains dedicated to working with our partner school districts to provide much-needed child care for families during the 2021-2022 school year. Assuming students will be returning to full-time in-person instruction in the fall, the YMCA will offer its traditional before and after school Kid Zone program beginning in August 2021.

PLEASE NOTE: Instruction plans for the 2021-2022 school year will be determined by each individual school district. This information will be shared with students and their families by their school district. As it has throughout the 2020-2021 school year, the Y’s Kid Zone program will continue to evolve to coordinate with each school district’s plan for instruction.

The Galowich Family YMCA’s Kid Zone program provides care for students who attend Joliet, Troy, Minooka, Rockdale, Fairmont, Union and Laraway school districts. Both before and after care is available Monday through Friday, on school days.

*A $45 registration fee is required. Participants may start attending Kid Zone four business days after the day registration is completed. Kid Zone payments will be paid monthly via automatic withdrawal from a checking account or debit/credit card.
