The C.W. Avery Family YMCA’s ‘Get Healthy, Get Strong’ program is designed to turn your most challenging fitness goal—say lose 100 pounds—into a reality. Under the guidance of a trained instructor, you will not only reshape your health but also learn how to stay active and healthy in the long run.
- Learn how to formulate and execute workout plans
- Attend weekly workout sessions and weigh-ins
- Complete mid-week check-ins
- Learn the ins and outs of nutrition and healthy eating
To be eligible for this program you must have a BMI of 30 or above. All participants will be pre and post tested (test include girth measurements, blood glucose, blood lipid profile and body fat percentage).
Prizes are awarded to the participants who make the most significant lifestyle changes.
