In appreciation of you, our loyal members, the Morris Community YMCA will be hosting Member Appreciation Days on four Sundays during the month of November. This is the perfect opportunity to embrace a healthy lifestyle and visit with your YMCA family and friends seven days a week!

All members who visit the Morris Y on one of our Appreciation Days will be entered to win a weekly drawing for some fantastic Y gear. Members who visit the Y on all four of our Appreciation Days will be entered to win a $100 Chamber gift certificate!
Seniors Gone Wired
We can help you go from technology-challenged to tech-savvy to no time!
This fall, the Morris Community YMCA is debuting Seniors Gone Wired, an exciting new educational program that teaches adults over the age of 50 all about modern day technology. Participants will learn:
- The easiest ways to navigate their smartphone and/or tablet
- How to communicate via Skype
- The in’s and out’s of Facebook

2015 Mini Tri & Kids Tri Results
Festivities got underway at 8 a.m., starting with the adult race (ages 12 and up), which included a 200-yard swim, a 10-mile bike ride and a two-mile run or walk. The kids races kicked off shortly after the adult race, with two divisions: Ages 6-7 and Ages 8-11. Participants, ages 6-7, completed a 25-yard swim, a one-mile bike ride and a half-mile run. Participants, ages 8-11, completed a 75-yard swim, a two-mile bike ride and a one-mile run.
The swimming portions of both races were held at the C.W. Avery Family YMCA lap pool, and the running portions were be completed outside on the YMCA grounds. The biking portion of the adult race was held outdoors on stationary bikes. All kids race participants rode their bicycles on a closed course.
