Reservations for YMCA group fitness and water exercises classes can be made up to 24 hours in advance through the YMCA On the Go App. Members can also make reservations by visiting the Membership Desk or by calling the Y.
YMCA On the Go App
You can make reservations in 4 easy steps.
Please note: Screenshots may vary based on the version of the App you have downloaded on your device.
Step 1: Click on the purple '+' sign or the 'Explore' button at the bottom of the home screen


Step 2: Click ‘Join Class’ or ‘Show all,’ which can be found to the right of ‘Classes’


Step 3: Choose your day, click on the drop-down menu or scroll down to select the class.


Step 4: Click ‘Join’ at the bottom of the screen
After completing these steps, you will see a message pop up confirming your reservation. You will also be able to view your reservation by clicking ‘My Plan,’ and you will receive an email confirming your reservation.
To cancel a reservation, simply navigate to your reservation, and click ‘Cancel.’ You will see a message pop up confirming your cancelation, and you will receive an email confirming your cancelation.
Please note: If you don’t receive confirmation or cancelation emails, please be sure to check your junk and spam folders.

There's a Y in Every Community
Greater Joliet Area YMCA members can make reservations at any of our four YMCA locations.
YMCA On the Go App Tip:
To make a reservation at a Greater Joliet Area YMCA facility that is not your primary branch in the YMCA On the Go App, you must select the facility by clicking on the arrow icon in the top right hand corner of the App home screen. You can then make your reservation.
