Our Youth Sports programs maximize the positive effects of athletics by emphasizing healthy competition and promoting teamwork. The Y focuses on the life lessons that can be learned from sports, and our coaches strive to instill a positive self-image in each player.
C.W. Avery Family YMCA

2026 Spring League Dates: April 27 - July 18
Practices begin the week of May 4, with games getting underway the week of May 25. Games will be played primarily on Friday evenings or Saturday mornings at the C.W. Avery Family YMCA. Occasional games may be played on weeknights. No games will be played on the 4th of July weekend.
Players will be provided a hat and jersey. Uniforms will not be guaranteed by the first game for those players who register after March 30.
Registration opens in January.
T-Ball

Introduces children to the game of baseball
Coach Pitch
Grades: 1-2 (Grade as of Fall 2026)
Players begin to hit pitches thrown by the coach
Player Pitch
Grades: 3-4 and 5-6 (Grade as of Fall 2026)
Pinto level baseball is the next big step in skill development for a child
Practices: Once per week on weeknights
Games: 8 game season

Preseason Clinics
The Y will host a free preseason clinic for all league participants. Pre-registration is required.

Morris Hospital YMCA

2026 Spring League Dates: April 27-July 18
Practices will be held once a week on weeknights and begin the week of April 27. Games will be played primarily on Saturdays at Goodwill Park but occassional games may be played on weeknights. Games begin May 30.
Players will be provided a hat and jersey. Participants who register after March 30 will pay a $25 late fee and will not guaranteed a uniform by the first game.
Registration opens in January.

Pinto Baseball
Ages: 6-8 years old
