As we prepare to join the nation in celebrating Veterans Day on November 11, the Greater Joliet Area YMCA is proud to honor those who have served our country by sharing their stories.

Throughout the coming week, we will shine a spotlight on military veterans who are part of our YMCA family. We will also highlight several programs and partnerships that help strengthen bonds between the Y and the men and women who serve and protect our nation.

By recognizing the contributions and sacrifices of our veterans and active-duty military members, we hope to raise awareness of the importance of supporting military families in our community and across the country.
