The Village of Shorewood YMCA is so excited for our first ever summer day camp season! YMCA Summer Day Camp offers youth and teens in Grades K-8 a chance to have fun and develop new friendships while building a healthy spirit, mind, and body. Campers will enjoy a summer full of swimming, sports, outdoor exploration, arts and crafts, field trips, and more.

*Plus a $50 non-refundable registration fee per family. PLEASE NOTE: Camp will not be held on Memorial Day. Rates will be prorated that week.

Scholarship Opportunities
DHS funds are accepted. Financial assistance is also available for those who qualify. Call your YMCA to learn more.
As part of the YMCA’s continued partnership with the State of Illinois Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP), the Y is required to keep up-to-date immunization records or documented exemptions on file for all children receiving CCAP funding in our Summer Camp program. This documentation is required to maintain your child’s enrollment and to ensure our program remains in compliance with Illinois and Federal Child Care and Development Fund (CCDF) Health and Safety Standards. We appreciate your cooperation in helping us keep our records current by submitting your child’s immunization record when registering for the Y's Summer Day Camp program.

Cancellation Policy
To avoid penalties, cancellations must be submitted by the deadlines listed below:
- For camp weeks in May and June (May 25, June 1, 8, 15, 22, 29): Cancel by May 1, 2026
- For camp weeks in July (July 6, 13, 20, 27): Cancel by June 1, 2026
- For camp weeks in August (August 3, 10): Cancel by July 1, 2026
Fees & Deadlines
- Cancellations made after the deadline listed above will incur a $50 cancellation fee per week, per family. This fee will be charged to the payment method on file.
- If cancellation is not submitted by the Monday prior to the start of the registered camp week, the full payment for that week will be charged.

MEET THE DIRECTOR
Youth and Family Director Tracy Wrase has more than a decade of career experience leading summer camp activities and has been at the helm of the Y's summer day camp program for the last two years. We can't wait for all the fun she has planned for our campers!
