C.W. Avery Family YMCA Summer Camp - Valley View School District 365
Summer's Cooler at the YMCA
The Y is excited to partner with Valley View School District 365U to provide a safe, affordable and fun summer day camp program for youth and teens. YMCA Summer Day Camp offers kids a chance to have fun and develop new friendships while building a healthy spirit, mind, and body. Campers will enjoy up to eight weeks of summer fun full games, outdoor exploration, arts and crafts, and more.
The Y will host both half-day and full-day camp programs this summer at Wood View Elementary School and Beverly Skoff Elementary School. The Y’s half-day summer camp program will only be offered on-site during the month of June, while the District’s 21st Century and Summer Learning Programs are in session. Students may also enroll in full-day summer camp, which will be offered on-site at both schools through July 29.
Summer day campers will also receive free meals for breakfast and lunch each day of camp.
STAYING HEALTHY TOGETHER

Meet Our Director
Sarah Porzel is a camp mastermind having spent the last 12 years working with children in YMCA Summer Day Camp. She is excited to lead our camp locations in Bolingbrook in Romeoville and can't wait to get toknow the wonderful families in the community.
"To me, the Y is a safe and comfortable place for children, so I like to be positive and build a connection with each of the kids in our programs—including getting to know each of them by name. We also have a ton of support from our community, which helps make a lot of what we do possible."
