The Smith Family YMCA’s “Next Level” All-Day Basketball Camp is designed for athletes who currently play high school basketball and for those who aspire to. Each day, a trained instructor will lead participants through on-the-court strength training, conditioning, speed and agility workouts, study sessions and more.
Sample Daily Schedule
9-9:15 a.m.: Morning Enrichment/Brain Teaser
9:20-9:30 a.m.: Calisthenics/Warm-up
9:30-10:30 a.m.: Ball Handling Advancement
10:30-10:45 a.m.: Replenish/Snack Time
10:45-11:45 a.m.: Lay-ups/Finishing Around the Rim
Noon-12:45 p.m.: Lunch
12:45-1 p.m.: Enrichment/Motivational Moment
1-1:30 p.m.: Strength & Conditioning Circuit
1:30-2:30 p.m.: Shooting Drills
2:30-3 p.m.: Shooting/Scrimmage Games
3-4 p.m.: Swimming (Wednesday and Friday only)
4-4:30 p.m.: Scrimmage/Game Scenario
All participants will receive a t-shirt and water bottle. Financial assistance is available. DHS funds are accepted.
