About Cindy
Cindy became certified as a Personal Trainer in 2010 and has taught Zumba at the Y since 2011. In 2015 she began practicing Physical Therapy as a Physical Therapist Assistant. She also has certifications as a Fitness Nutrition Specialist and as a Weight Loss Specialist.

Why did you get involved with the Y?
“I got involved with the Y because I wanted to be a part of their mission and give something back to the community,” Cindy says. “Health and fitness were always an important part of my life and I wanted to share that knowledge and passion with others.”

What’s the best part of your job?
“Having the knowledge to help people live quality lives through fitness and nutrition as well as having the know how to help those who have physical limitations due to disease or injury. The sense of community and the spirit of the Y and it’s members and knowing that I make a difference.”
