You must be 18 years old to enroll in the Greater Joliet Area YMCA without a parent authorizing the application.

  • When you join you will select a YMCA Branch, Membership Type & Payment Plan to meet your needs.
    • Adult, Youth and Teen memberships include one person for the price listed online.
      • Note: If you choose to add an adult or child to these membership types using the feature available online, your rate will be adjusted in the Welcome Center to include the additional fee because the online portal does not calculate the cost.
    • You may change Branch, Membership Type or Payment plan at any time by requesting the change through the Welcome Center

PAYMENT OPTIONS

  • Annual Full Payment:
  • You may pay your annual membership dues for the entire year using cash, check or credit card. Membership activated online must be paid for with a credit card.
  • Automatic Bank Draft from a Checking Account:
  • By using a monthly automatic draft, payment will be electronically deducted from your checking account on an ongoing, monthly basis on the 15th or 28th. This automated method of payment may also be used to make merchandise and other program purchases in the branch.
  • When you join online your membership will be drafted by credit card. When you visit the branch for orientation and to pick up your cards, you will be asked to complete the required bank draft authorization form and provide a voided check.
** In the on-line enrollment process, if quarterly or semi-annual billing is selected, this will occur for one cycle after which time monthly drafts will begin.
  • It is your responsibility to keep the YMCA informed of any changes in your bank account number or bank name. It is mandatory that we receive notification thirty (30) days prior to your draft date of any changes in your account number or bank name.

  • In the event of non-payment for any reason, the YMCA reserves the right to collect the amount due on OR before the next scheduled draft date. Returned checks, EFTs, and recovery fees will be electronically debited from your checking account. A $25 service charge will be applied.
