What do the current YMCA Endowment funds specifically support?

A donor has the option of contributing to an existing fund or establishing a new fund with a minimum gift of $10,000.

Herman J. Adelmann Fund- This fund is an estate document providing interest income to the YMCA to be used at its discretion.

C.W. Avery Family YMCA Endowment Fund - This fund will provide for the maintenance and building improvements of the C.W. Avery Family YMCA.

Lois Berglund Endowment Fund - This fund provides membership and program scholarships for children and families at the C.W. Avery Family YMCA.

Jackie Bellizzi Endowment Fund - This fund provides for the ongoing maintenance and building improvements of the Smith Family and Galowich Family YMCAs.

Erma Agazzi Chuk Fund #1- This fund provides financial assistance to those in need at any branch.

Erma Agazzi Chuk Fund #2- This fund provides financial assistance for collaborative programs at the Smith Family YMCA

Albert J. Felman Fund- This fund is an estate gift providing equipment and furniture for the Central City office space.

Larry Hemdal Endowment Fund - This fund provides scholarship funds for children in our Central City YMCA programs.

Albert Johnston Trust Fund- This fund is co-mingled with the YMCA Endowment general fund which benefits the YMCA's general needs.

Joliet YMCA Jets Swim Team- This fund will offset operational expenses in order to fund the swim team.

Joliet Rotary Fund- This fund provides income for the upkeep of the Rotary Sports Field complex behind the Galowich facility.

George and May Lloyd Fund- This fund provides start up funds for the YMCA programs.

Olive F. McMicken Endowment Fund - This fund provides scholarships for children in our C.W. Avery Family YMCA programs.

Dr. Wyllie Mullen Fund- This fund provides scholarships for all branches of the Greater Joliet Area YMCA.

James Norris, Sr. Fund- This fund provides start up funds for the YMCA programs.

Robert Pilcher Fund- This fund is an estate document providing interest income to the YMCA to be used at its discretion.

Arthur G. Smith Endowment Fund - This fund provides for ongoing maintenance and building improvements of all the Greater Joliet Area YMCA facilities and equipment.

Vera C. Smith Fund- This fund provides financial assistance for all branches of the Greater Joliet Area YMCA.

Brent Wadsworth Christian Character Development Fund - This fund is utilized to support programs that promote our Christian Character values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility.
