YMCA Endowment Fund
The purpose of the YMCA Endowment Fund is to develop a perpetual financial base to support the mission and services of the Greater Joliet Area YMCA. Contributions to the YMCA Endowment Fund create an everlasting legacy to future generations by assuring the continued service of our YMCA. The YMCA Endowment Fund is prudently managed by professional investment advisors under the direction of the Board of Trustees. Funds donated to an endowment stay in the endowment with the interest generated from the endowment used for facility improvements, financial assistance or other targeted needs.

Targeted Endowment Funds
C.W. Avery Family YMCA Endowment Fund - This fund provides for the maintenance and building improvements of the C.W. Avery Family YMCA.

Lois Berglund Endowment Fund - This fund provides membership and program scholarships for children and families at the C.W. Avery Family YMCA.

Jackie Bellizzi Endowment Fund - This fund provides for the ongoing maintenance and building improvements of the Smith Family and Galowich Family YMCAs.

Larry Hemdal Endowment Fund - This fund provides scholarship funds for children in our Central City YMCA programs.

Olive F. McMicken Endowment Fund - This fund provides scholarships for children in our C.W. Avery YMCA programs.

Arthur G. Smith Endowment Fund - This fund provides for ongoing maintenance and building improvements of al the Greater Joliet Area YMCA facilities and equipment.

Wadsworth Christian Character Building Fund - This fund is utilized to support programs that promote our Christian Character values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility.

Your contribution can be invested in our General Endowment Fund or any of the targeted funds listed above. A new endowment in your name or the name of a loved one can be established for a minimum of $15,000.
