Community Involvement
The Greater Joliet Area YMCA prides itself on collborating with 70 schools, services agencies and businesses and in being involved in the community through its participation in over 24 service clubs, councils and chambers of commerce. In addition to the work the YMCA does with others in the community, the YMCA is proud to works inside it’s buildings to help members, program participants and staff give back to the communites we serve through C.A.S.T, the YMCA’s Caring and Sharing Team.

C.A.S.T. representatives and the volunteers will be promoting our core values by joining together to do community service projects in the Plainfield and Joliet areas. Each individual interested in volunteering should complete a volunteer application and state background check. Contact the representative at your branch to get started today.
